I’m so excited to share that after months of work, my eBook called How to Wrap Rocks: A step-by-step introduction to the art of rock wrapping is complete and available to buy on Etsy.
I am so proud of this book! When I set out to write a book about how to wrap rocks, I was expecting to create a PDF eBook of maybe 15 or 20 pages, but I had so many ideas and so much information to share that it grew to a full 54 pages long!
How to Wrap Rocks includes:
– Detailed step-by-step project instructions for 3 unique rock-wrapping projects
– Links to exclusive how-to videos demonstrating each project, with exclusive access to over one hour of original unlisted content on YouTube
– Hundreds of full-colour photographs and diagrams plus text descriptions of each tutorial

If you’ve ever been curious about wrapping rocks but didn’t know where to start, this is the book for you! You don’t need much to get started – just a rock and something to wrap around it. There are a few other common tools that will make the task easier, and I explain how you probably already have them lying around the house in a drawer or toolbox.

I’m really pleased with how the projects section turned out. (All my years in developing corporate training materials have paid off!) It has dozens of step-by-step illustrations and detailed text descriptions, but I know some folks need to see tutorials in action. So I also created a playlist of YouTube videos demonstrating each project in its entirety, and you can only access those videos via a link in the book. There’s over 60 minutes of dedicated video, so whether you learn best by reading or watching I’ve got you covered! And each of the designs in the project section have been reviewed and tested by non-rock-wrappers, so the instructions should be clear for beginners and experience rock wrappers alike.
Choosing a vehicle to sell the downloads was a far more challenging task than actually creating the content for the book, to be honest. In the end, I decided to go though Etsy because I already had a dormant shop set up. I wanted folks to be able to download their files instantly instead of having to wait for me to deliver the files. I looked at a lot of options, from selling here on WordPress to sites like Patreon and KoFi and Big Cartel, but in the end even though their fees are annoying, Etsy seemed the most straightforward choice for consumers.
